Content Provider Agreement

Effective Date: 20th July 2025

This Content Provider Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between you ("User", "Content Provider") and Seeking Trans Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom ("Company", "we", or "us"), in connection with your use of the website www.seekingtrans.com and related applications ("Site", "App", or "Platform"). By accessing or using the Site as a registered user and selecting “I Agree,” you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age;
  • You are entering into this Agreement voluntarily and without coercion;
  • You have read, understood, and accepted the terms set out below.
  1. User Content & Responsibilities

“User Content” refers to any media, including text, images, video, or audio, as well as personal data, profile information, or any other materials submitted, uploaded, published, or otherwise shared on the Site or App.

You represent and warrant that:

  • You are the sole and lawful owner of all User Content you upload;
  • All content complies with UK law and this Agreement;
  • All persons featured in any content are 18 years or older at the time of production;
  • You have obtained the explicit, documented consent of all individuals depicted in your content;
  • Your content does not infringe on any third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.
  1. Identity & Age Verification

To comply with UK content verification laws (including age verification obligations under the Digital Economy Act 2017), the Company has implemented a strict internal verification process.

You agree to provide the following upon request:

  • Valid, government-issued ID to confirm identity and age;
  • Proof that the uploaded content features only consenting adults;
  • Accurate and complete profile information;
  • Agreement to further verification (e.g. selfie confirmation, location/IP match).

Failure to comply may result in account suspension or permanent deletion.

  1. Content Standards and Prohibited Materials

The following types of content are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate suspension or termination:

  • Content featuring individuals under 18 years of age;
  • Content implying underage involvement (e.g., text or titles);
  • Non-consensual activity or coerced participation;
  • Content that promotes or facilitates:
    • Human or sex trafficking;
    • Sexual exploitation or abuse;
    • Violence, self-harm, or illegal drug use;
    • Defamation, hate speech, harassment;
  • Uploading copyrighted material without proper permission;
  • Images or content using others' identities or likeness without consent;
  • Explicit content set as the main profile image;
  • Fake or misleading profile data;
  • Any personal contact information unless submitted through approved Site formats.

The Company retains full discretion to reject or remove any content at any time, and to report illegal activity to relevant authorities.

  1. Review and Approval

All uploaded content is reviewed before publication to ensure compliance with:

  • UK laws (e.g., Obscene Publications Act 1959, Protection of Children Act 1978);
  • Internal safety and content moderation policies;
  • Digital copyright laws including the UK equivalent of the DMCA.

The Company reserves the right to modify, withhold, or delete any content without notice if it violates this Agreement or applicable law.

  1. License to Use Content

By uploading any content to the Site, you grant the Company:

  • A non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, transferable, sub-licensable, and worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, and display such content for commercial, promotional, and operational purposes;
  • The right to adapt, translate, and create derivative works from your content for use on the Site, App, third-party platforms, and across various digital media formats;
  • Permission for other users to view, access, and interact with your content on the platform.

You understand and accept that:

  • This license continues even if you delete your account;
  • We may retain, display, and promote your content unless you formally request its removal in writing, and we confirm such removal;
  • In the case of a business transfer (merger, sale, bankruptcy), your content and related data may be assigned to the acquiring party without separate notice.
  1. Compliance with Copyright & Data Protection Laws

You agree that:

  • The Company may represent you under applicable UK copyright law in DMCA-related takedown processes;
  • Your personal data will be handled in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018;
  • We maintain full compliance with content protection, digital safety, and copyright enforcement standards in the UK and globally.
  1. Liability & Termination

You are solely responsible for all content submitted through your account. Violation of this Agreement may result in:

  • Removal of offending content;
  • Temporary or permanent account suspension;
  • Reporting to law enforcement where required by law;
  • Legal action if your content causes harm or violates UK law.

The Company may terminate this Agreement and your access at any time for violations of this policy or other site terms.
